Introducción:
la representación es una construcción social de conocimientos y actividades que los hombres hacen inteligible de la realidad física y social.
Objetivo:
interpretar la representación mediante el dibujo que elaboran los niños sobre el ser y hacer de un profesional de enfermería para comprender la identidad con su práctica cotidiana.
Metodología:
el estudio se sustenta en la teoría de representaciones sociales y de la identidad. Sobre la temática:
"A qué se dedican las enfermeras", se analizó ¿Cómo es representada la práctica de enfermería por los niños? ¿Qué elementos sobresalen en las representaciones? ¿Qué mensaje escrito reproduce sobre el ser y hacer de enfermería? Para la entrevista se plantearon algunas interrogantes como: ¿Se identifica el profesional de enfermería con la imagen creada por los niños, sobre su práctica y qué ideas de identidad le producen esas representaciones? Resultados: para los niños, la enfermería no solo se representa con el uniforme y cofia, hay otros distintivos como la: lámpara, estetoscopio y jeringa asociada con las vacunas y el uso de tecnologías modernas de la salud.
Conclusiones:
la identidad profesional facilita el desarrollo y el reconocimiento social de las personas en su práctica y en la oferta de servicios profesionales cualificados.
Introduction:
Representation is a social construction of knowledge and activities that men make intelligible from physical and social reality.
Objective:
Interpret the representation through the drawing made by the children, about the being and being of a nursing professional to understand the identity with their daily practice.
Methods:
The study is based on the theory of social representations and identity. On the subject:
"What do nurses do?", How was nursing represented by children? What elements come out in the representations? What written message does it reproduce about being and doing nursing? For the interview, some questions were raised such as: Is the nursing professional identified with the image created by the children, about their practice and what ideas of identity do these representations produce?
Results: For children, nursing is not only represented with the white uniform and cap, there are other distinguishing features such as: lamp, stethoscope and syringe associated with vaccines and the use of modern health technologies.
Conclusions:
Professional identity facilitates the development and social recognition of people in their practice and in the offer of qualified professional services.
