Trata-se de um estudo de caso realizado através de urna pesquisa de campo de método qualitativa, utilizando-se como técnica de trabalho a observação participante registrada sistemáticamente em diários. Os dados foram analizados com vistas à discussão das representações da expressão da sexualidade e dos significados das relações de poder nas categorias envolvidas buscando-se determinar a lógica e a racionalidade que apoia ou reproduz a idologia destes comportamentos dentro de instituições de ensino e de assistência à saúde. A enfermagem busca através do álibi da tarefa a sustentação para uma prática disciplinada e neutra de emoções.
The paper discusses a study of case carried out through a qualitative field research based on a technique of active observation, systematically registered on diaries. The data have been analyzed with the objective of discussing the representation of sexuality expression and the meanings of power relations in the pertinent categories (students, teachers, nurses, and patients) trying to determine the logic and the rationality supporting or reproducing again the ideology of those behaviors within teaching and health assistance institutions. Nursing profession tries through the alibi of tasks, to sustain a disciplined practice, emotionally neutral.
