O exame de prevenção do câncer Ginecológico: Opinião da 3º Idade

O objeto deste estudo é a opinião da mulher idosa sobre a prevenção do câncer ginecológico.
Objetivamos:
Verificar quando realizaram o último preventivo e se fazem periodicamente; Identificar dificuldades em realizá-lo, indagar sobre o que poderia facilitar sua realização. É um estudo de caso. Entrevistamos 46 idosas participantes do EPIGG/UFF, utilizando entrevista estruturada. Os dados foram categorizados e analisados à luz de bibliografias correlacionadas. Identificamos que a maioria das idosas não mantém a periodicidade do exame; metade declara não ter dificuldade em realizá-lo e não o realiza. Existe uma contradição na fala da idosa e a necessidade de educação em saúde.
This search aims to know the elderly womans opinion about the preventive examination of he uterus col cancer. The focus is to verify when they last appeared to the exam and whether they can often do it; identify the difficulties in doing it, question them on what could provide ease to develop it. It is a search of a case. 46 elderly taking part in EPIGG/UFF were interviewed, using a structured interview. The data were set in categories and analyzed under the correlated biographies. We could notice that the most of the elderly women do not keep on submitting the regular exam, half of them says not to have difficulties in undergoing the exam but do not have them either. There is a contradiction between the elderlys speech and the need for health education.
