Objetivo:
investigar o preparo de estudantes de enfermagem para atender usuários de álcool e outras drogas.Metodologia:
revisão integrativa de literatura que teve como pergunta norteadora: quais conhecimentos,atitudes e crenças os estudantes de enfermagem possuem frente ao fenômeno das drogas? A busca foi realizada na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, utilizando-se os descritores drogas ilícitas and enfermagem.Resultados:
7 artigos científicos foram selecionados. As pesquisas mostraram que o estudante de enfermagem possui dificuldade em estabelecer um relacionamento interpessoal com o usuário de álcool e outras drogas;pré-conceitos e visões negativas acerca destes; fragilidade de conhecimentos teóricos sobre o tema; mas apresentam atitudes positivas em relação ao tema. Conclusão:
as atitudes, as crenças e a falta de conhecimento dos estudantes de enfermagem identificada nesta revisão sugerem pouco preparo para atender usuários de álcool e outras drogas. Entretanto, ressalta-se o interesse desses pela problemática e reconhecimento do potencial do enfermeiro enquanto agente terapêutico.
Objective:
to investigate the preparation of nursing students to assist users of alcohol and other drugs. Methodology:
integrative literature review which had the guiding question: what knowledge, attitudes and beliefs that nursing students have in front of the phenomenon of drugs? The search was done on Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde. The descriptors used were street drugs and nursing. Results: seven scientific articleswere selected. The research showed that nursing students have difficulty in setting an interpersonal relationship with users of alcohol and other drugs; prejudices and negative views about these; fragility oftheoretical knowledge about the topic; however, positive attitudes toward the subject coming from nursing students were noticed. Conclusion:
the attitudes, beliefs and lack of knowledge of nursing students identifiedin this review suggest insufficient preparation to assist users of alcohol and other drugs. However, there is aninterest in the issue and recognition of the potential of nurses as therapeutic agents.
