Objetivo:
Conhecer a produção científica acerca da vivência das mães e dos familiares frente à internação da criança na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal. Método:
Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases de dados Sistema Online de Busca e Análise de Literatura Médica, Literatura Latino Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Base de Dados de Enfermagem e Index Psicologia Periódicos Técnico Científicos e, norteada pela seguinte questão: Quais são os aspectos relacionados às vivências das mães e familiares frente à internação do filho na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal? Resultados: Foram selecionados 24 estudos, os quais foram classificados e analisados de acordo com as seguintes categorias: Sentimentos envolvidos na internação do filho na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal e Familiarização com a Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal: o ambiente e o impacto das informações recebidas. Conclusão:
Evidenciou-se a importância da rede de apoio e da equipe de enfermagem na garantia de suporte ao neonato e aos pais e familiares com a finalidade de reduzir os sentimentos negativos de tristeza e desemparo relacionados a esta situação, vivenciada por meio do cuidado humanizado
Objective:
To know the scientific production about the experience of the mother and the families in the hospitalization of children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Method:
integrative review of the literature conducted in the databases Online System of Search and Analysis of Medical Literature, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, Nursing Database and Index Psychology Periodical Scientific Technicians and, guided by the following question: What the aspects related to the experience of mothers and their families in the face of the hospitalization of the child in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit? Results: Twenty-four studies were selected, which were classified and analyzed according to the following categories: Feelings involved in the hospitalization of the child in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Familiarization with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: the environment and the impact of the information received. Conclusion:
It was evidenced the importance of the support network and the nursing team in guaranteeing support to the neonate and to parents and relatives with the purpose of reducing the negative feelings of sadness and unpair related to this situation, experienced through the humanized care
