Perfil dos pacientes hipertensos de uma população que vive em regime fechado

Foi um estudo quantitativo que teve como objetivo conhecer o perfil para a hipertensão arterial de uma população que vive em regime fechado. Como instrumento de coleta de dados, foi utilizado um questionário com 13 questões fechadas, aplicado a 37 hipertensos que cumprem pena em regime fechado, no qual a maioria está com idade entre 40 a 49 anos. Desses, 19 cursaram o ensino fundamental completo e 21 têm alguém da família que tem hipertensão. Vários fatores podem influenciar a adesão ao tratamento dentre eles as características sociais e o conhecimento sobre a doença e o tratamento.
This is a quantitative study aiming to know the profile for arterial hypertension of a population that lives under closed regime. As data collection instrument, it was used a questionnaire with 13 closed question, applied to 37 hypertensive patients under a closed regime of serving a sentence. The majority is from 40 to 49 years old - 19 of them graduated from high school and 21 have someone in the family that has hypertension. Many factors can influence the adhesion to the treatment, such as the social characteristics and the knowledge about the disease and its treatment.
