Trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre a implantação do Alojamento Materno no Hospital Sofia Feldman (HSF), tendo como objetivo apresentar e discutir a assistência oferecida às mães de recém-nascidos internados na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal (UTIN) do HSF. Esta iniciativa busca facilitar e estimular a permanência da mãe junto ao seu filho internado na UTIN, contribuindo, também, para a formação e fortalecimento do vínculo mãe-filho. Tendo o cuidado centrado na família e a humanização da assistência como referenciais teóricos, tem sido possível constatar seus benefícios para a criança/mãe/família, o que indica a necessidade de aperfeiçoamento da experiência.
This is a report of an experience on the implementation of joint lodging in the Sofia Feldman Hospital, in Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, with the objective of presenting and discussing the care given to mothers of newborn babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of this hospital. This initiative has the intention of facilitating and encouraging mothers to stay with their children in the NICU in order to strengthen the bond between mother and child. With care centered on the family and the humanization of care as theoretical references, it has been possible to observe the benefits for the child/mother/family, which shows the need to improve the experience.
Se trata de un relato de experiencia sobre la implantación del Alojamiento Materno en el Hospital Sofía Feldman (HSF). Su objetivo es presentar y discutir la asistencia ofrecida a las madres de los recién nacidos internados en la Unidad de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal (UTIN) del HSF. Esta iniciativa busca facilitar y estimular la permanencia de la madre junto a su hijo internado en la UTIN, contribuyendo, entre otros, a la formación y fortalecimiento del vínculo madre-hijo. Con los referentes teóricos del cuidado centrado en la familia y la asistencia humanizada se han podido constatar los beneficios para la familia/madre/hijo lo cual indica la necesidad de continuar perfeccionando la experiencia.
