Enfermería Informática: ¿una contradicción o una oportunidad para el trabajo en red?

La informática es una especialidad que no solo procesa datos, sino que también necesita de ellos y se nutre de cualquier información que le sea establecida para el intercambio colaborativo, por tanto es herramienta para el desarrollo de cualquier ciencia. La Enfermería desarrollada como profesión y disciplina y en su camino a posesionarse como ciencia necesita de los últimos adelantos de la ciencia y la técnica, de ahí la importancia de describir las herramientas más importantes de la informática para el trabajo en redes en enfermería. Se concluye que no existen contradicciones entre la enfermería y la informática, es cuestión de variar las conductas ante las nuevas tecnologías, para ajustarse a los tiempos y al desarrollo de la ciencia y con ello aprovechar la oportunidad que le ofrece la informática a la enfermería en su camino a constituirse como ciencia donde el trabajo en redes debe constituir una prioridad(AU)
Information technology is a specialty that not only process data, but also need of them and provide with any information to be established for cooperative exchange, thus, it is a means for the development of any science. Nursing developed as a profession and a discipline and in its route to be placed as a science, needs of the novel advances of science and technique, thus the significance to describe the more important means of information technology for the networking in nursing. We conclude that there are not contraindications between nursing and information technology it's a question of change the behaviors in face of technologies, to fit in with the times and the science's development and thus to make use of the opportunities offering information to nursing in its promotion as a science where the networking must to be a priority(AU)
