Vivência da violência conjugal: fatos do cotidiano

A violência conjugal se manifesta no cotidiano de algumas mulheres como fato repetitivo, cruel, por vezes naturalizado. A violência conjugal significada pela mulher que a vivencia é parte do seu cotidiano, envolta em brigas, empurrões, xingamentos, humilhações e vergonha. Foram entrevistadas 12 mulheres, vítimas de violência conjugal, em Teresina-PI. O estudo teve como objetivo compreender o significado da vivência de violência conjugal pela mulher vitimizada Usou-se o referencial da fenomenologiapara análise, com conceitos de Martin Heidegger. O método de análise compreensiva, utilizado nesteestudo, permitiu que mulheres vitimizadas descrevessem suas vivências. Os resultados revelam que são mulheres aprisionadas no próprio lar e impedidas de participarem da convivência com familiares e emoutros cenários da vida em sociedade. Domestic violence occurs daily for some women as a repetitive, cruel fact that at times seems almost common. To these women, domestic violence is a part of their daily life, surroundedby fights, shoves, swearing, humiliation, and shame. Twelve women who were victims of domestic violence in Teresina, PI were interviewed. The objective of this study was to understand the experience of domestic violence by the victimized woman. The phenomenological reference was used to analyze the interviews based on the concepts of Martin Heidegger. The comprehensive analysis method used inthis study permitted the victimized women to describe their experiences. The results revealed that thesewomen are prisoners in their own homes and are prevented from participating in companionship withfamily members and in other areas of social life.
