Violência contra a mulher: perpetuação da violência após a separação conjugal

The study shows how home violence goes on still when a woman is no longer married. As a source of data, the author used examples of broken marriages, consensual, litigious, and written or not, which are used to be at her professional day-by-day. Special attention was paid to cases on which violence perpetuated by man, achieved significantly, with material and psychological losses. Violence against separated wives may be pointed out as power of domination, shows of power, either economical or physical. The realization that violence as either physical, psychological or moral degradation may be the cultural patterns, juridical kind of marriage, economic power, age, etc, are the subjects of this study. As a result, we deem that the juridical world is built up not only by written law, but also with cultural facts, changing with time and place. The marital war set up under the aegis of marriage and perpetuated after its dissolution leads the operators of the law to go after a multidisciplinary team. Adding it up, firstly, although marital engagement is undone, violence continues against women.
