A research developed in a public hospital, which objectives were: to analyze thevarious form of violence that the child suffers during hospitalization and to understand theoretical dimension of therapeutic intervention with the hospitalized child. A qualitative approach through the method of Participant Observation has been employed the basic theoretical referential for discussion of the data was the thought of Foucault, the theoretical analysis is enriched by the insertion of personal presuppositions from the author of ôRights of the Hospitalized Children and Teenagersõ, among other researches contributing to the work aims to open a broader space for the health professional to reflect upon, analyze and position themselves for action, to take the child's cause and to modify the assistant institution's reality within an ethical perspective...
