Diferencias en el registro de la presión arterial intraobservador e interobservador

El registro correcto de lo presión arterial es importante para efectuar diagnóstico y tratamiento oportunos; por ello se debe verificar si existen diferencias en el registro de la presión arterial intraobservador e interobservador.
Se midió la presión arterial a 25 niños hospitalizados entre seis a 16 años de edad, en la posición de decúbito dorsal, registrándola tres veces a cada niño, con apego a normas técnicas estrictas. Los resultados demuestran que existen diferencias estadísticamente significativa tanto en el registro intraobservador como en el registro intraobservador, y algunas diferencias interobservadores son tan grandes que conducirían a errores en el manejo del paciente. Parece necesario comparar los registros entre varias personas antes de establecer diagnóstico o indicar tratamiento.
Since the correct registration of the arterial pressure is important for establishment of timely diagnosis and treatment, it is necessary to verify the existence of differences in the registration of the arterial pressure between intraobserver and interobserver. Arterial pressure was measured in 25 hospitalized children, with ages between 6 and 16 years, laying in dorsal decubital position. This was done 3 times daily to each child, following strict nonned techniques. The results disclosed a statistically significant difference in both intraobserved and interobserver. Some of the differences were largeenough to lead to erroneous treatment of the patient. It seems necessary to compare various registrations by different people before establishing a diagnosis and treatment.
