A educação sexual na vida cotidiana de pais e adolescentes: uma abordagem compreensiva da ação social

Minha experiência enquanto enfermeira educadora em saúde, em uma instituição de ensino fundamental, levou-me a realizar um estudo buscando compreender o típico da ação de pais e adolescentes frente à educação para a vida sexual. O estudo foi fundamentado pela Sociologia Fenomenológica de Alfred Schütz e teve como propósito a busca do significado dessa ação subjetiva que se mostrou para a pesquisadora a partir da relação sujeito pesquisador/sujeito pesquisado. Os depoimentos obtidos por meio da entrevista fenomenológica permitiram a compreensão do tipo vivido "Pais que educam adolescentes para a vida sexual" como sendo aquele que se deseja conversar com os adolescentes sobre os assuntos sexuais, preparando-os para viver a sexualidade com o outro, de modo pensado e não prematuro, se possível dentro do casamento, sendo as dificuldades na promoção do diálogo com os filhos, sejam em maior ou menor grau, justificadas pelo não recebimento, por parte de seus pais e mestres, das orientações sobre a vida sexual. O tipo vivido "Adolescente que é educado para a vida sexual" foi descrito como sendo aquele que se deseja viver uma relação comunicativa com os pais para receber informações sobre a vida sexual. A Sociologia Fenomenológica de Schútz, mais que uma estratégia de educação em saúde, se considerarmos, como aponta este autor, a necessidade de se buscar junto à pessoa seus motivos existenciais que levam ao comportamento social frente às questões sexuais.
My experience as a health educater nurse, in a basic teaching institution, led me to undertake the comprehension of the typical behavior of parents and teen-agers in the education for sexual life. The study has been settled on the Phenomenological Sociology of Alfred Schütz and has its purpose to understand the subjective action which appeared to the researcher from the relationship between researcher subject and researched subject. The reports got from the phenomenological interviews allowed the understanding of the ideal type "parents which educate teen-agers to sexual life" as being the person who wants to talk to teen-agers about sexual affairs to prepare them to live sexuality with the other in a thoughfully and not premature way, as far as possible inside marriage, being difficulties in promoting dialogue with kids, in major or smaller degree, justified by the lack of orientation, on sexual life, from the parents and teachers. The ideal type "teen-ager educated for sexual life" has been described as being a person who wishes to share an open relationship with parents in order to receive information of sexual intercourse. The Phenomenological Sociology of Schütz, more than a theory of social action showed itself as a strategy on health education, if we consider, as pointed out by the author, the necessity of searching near the person, his existential reasons which bring to a social behavior in sexual affairs.
