A inserção do técnico de enfermagem no mercado de trabalho na Baixada Santista: fatores dificultadores e facilitadores
The insertion of the nursing technician into the job market in Baixada Santista: facilitating and impeding factors

Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar se existem dificuldades e facilidades na inserção do técnico de enfermagem no mercado de trabalho na Baixada Santista, verificar a influência da formação do técnico de enfermagem, na inserção no mercado de trabalho e verificar as perspectivas do técnico de enfermagem em relação à sua inserção. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa de caráter exploratório, na perspectiva qualitativa; os sujeitos foram nove técnicos de enfermagem inseridos em uma instituição hospitalar privada na Baixada Santista. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e analisadas pelo referencial Bardin, abrangendo as categorias: fatores dificultadores e facilitadores na inserção no mercado de trabalho e na instituição campo de estudo, atividades desenvolvidas pelo técnico de enfermagem na instituição campo de estudo, perspectivas do técnico de enfermagem quanto à sua inserção no mercado de trabalho e desenvolvimento profissional , a formação na visão dos sujeitos e, a relação do técnico de enfermagem com a equipe de enfermagem. Verificamos pelos resultados que existem dificuldades de inserção devido às questões salariais e porque o técnico de enfermagem não é reconhecido pelo mercado de trabalho e, facilidades pelo fato de que os alunos realizam estágios no campo de estudo. Dentre as atividades desenvolvidas pelos sujeitos foram as assistenciais e administrativas porém sem diferenciar das realizadas pelos auxiliares de enfermagem. Os sujeitos apresentaram perspectivas positivas em relação ao mercado de trabalho porque acreditam que neste momento está sendo dado incentivo para esta profissão e negativas devido ao número reduzido de vagas nas instituições de saúde privadas e públicas. Em relação às perspectivas pessoais foi revelado pelos sujeitos que eles foram motivados pelos professores e funcionários a se atualizarem e fazerem cursos de especialização. Na visão dos técnicos de (continuação) enfermagem a sua formação foi boa porque realizaram estágios que proporcionaram aprendizado e os professores trabalhavam na instituição hospitalar, campo de estudo. Porém para alguns dos sujeitos, a sua formação foi fraca porque faltaram informações e conhecimentos. Em relação à equipe de enfermagem existiam relações conflituosas e preconceituosas entre os auxiliares de enfermagem e os sujeitos da pesquisa. Porém, a relação dos sujeitos com os enfermeiros foi acolhedora, tranquila e diferente. O estudo permitirá aos sujeitos refletirem sobre a sua inserção nas instituições de saúde e pensar nas atividades que desenvolvem, para que os futuros profissionais sejam reconhecidos pelo mercado de trabalho
This research was aimed at the identification of possible facilitating and impeding factors in the insertion of nursing technicians in the job market in Baixada Santista. A further aim was to verify the influence of the nursing technician's academic background in relation to their insertion in the job market in addition to verifying the prospects of the nursing technician in relation to their insertion. It was an exploratory, qualitative study, centred on nine subjects who are nursing technicians working in a particular private health practice in Baixada Santista. The data was collected by means of semi-structured interviews, which was then examined by using a thematic analysis proposed by Bardin, covering the following categories: facilitating and impeding factors involved in the insertion in the job market and in the institution itself [the field of study where this research was carried out], activities developed by the nursing technician in the institution, personal prospects of these nursing technicians about their insertion in the job market and professional development, academic background from the subjects' point of view, the relationship of the nursing technicians within the nursing team. It was confirmed by the research results that there have been difficulties in the insertion due to salary and also due to the fact that nursing technicians are not properly valued by the job market. It was also confirmed that there have been some facilitating factors such as the students serving a probationary period in the institution [field of study]. The activities performed by the subjects were mainly orientated towards assisting and administration duties; but with no differentiation from those activities performed by the nursing assistants. The subjects presented positive perspectives in relation to the job market and think it poses very good chances of employment because they believe that at the present moment there has been some incentive being given to their profession, but they also voiced negative opinions due to the shortage of vacancies in both private and public health sectors. As to personal perspectives, the subjects revealed that they have been motivated by professors and peers to upgrade their skills and take specialist courses. According to the nursing technicians, their academic studies were good because they were able to serve probationary periods which facilitated learning and because their professors also worked in the hospital settings [the field of study where this research was carried out]. However, some subjects felt that their academic studies were not satisfactory because of a lack of information and knowledge. It was noticed that there were some areas of conflict with the nursing team, resulting from prejudice between the nursing assistants and the subjects. On the other hand, the relationship between the subjects and the nurses was welcoming, calm and different from that with the nursing assistants. This research will allow the subjects to reflect on their insertion in health practice settings and think about the activities they perform, so that potential professionals can be highly regarded in the job market in future
