Ocorrências éticas de enfermagem: uma abordagem compreensiva da ação social

Este estudo versa sobre a atuação dos enfermeiros membros da Comissão de Ética de Enfermagem - EMS e dos enfermeiros gerentes - EGs, nas ocorrências éticas que envolvem os profissionais de enfermagem. Teve como objetivo conhecer e compreender o significado das ações desses enfermeiros face a tais ocorrências. O estudo foi fundamentado no referencial teórico-filosófico e metodológico proposto pela fenomenologia sociológica de Alfred Schütz. Os depoimentos obtidos possibilitaram compreender o tipo vivido EM e EG como pessoas que almejam a humanização e melhoria do processo de cuidar; anseiam pela credibilidade dos profissionais de enfermagem; querem desmitificar o medo da punição em relação ao encaminhamento do profissional à Comissão de Étca; desejam propiciar satisfação ao cliente e buscam parceirizar o processo educativo face à atuação nas ocorrências éticas; agem com base nos valores e crenças, nos conhecimentos adquiridos e nas experiências vividas. Enquanto o EG espera que o sigilo seja respeitado em relação ao profissional que cometeu a ocorrência, o EM deseja que o gerente decida pelo encaminhamento da ocorrência ética, quando julgar necessário. Os "motivos para e porque" alegados para esses enfermeiros atuarem nas ocorrências éticas sugerem aspectos importantes a serem repensados pelos profissionais de enfermagem que vivenciam essas ocorrências no seu cotidiano.
This study on the action of the nurses who are members of the Nursing Ethics Committee - Member Nurses and Manager Nurses -, in the ethic events involving nursing professionals had the purpose to know and understand the meaning of the nurse's actions when facing these events. This study was based on the theorethical-phylosophic and methodological referential proposed by the sociological phenomenology of Alfred Schütz. The statements obtained allowed to understand the type experienced by the member and manager nurses as people aiming humanization and improvement of the care process; they look forward for credibility of the nursing professionals; they aim to unmask fear of punishment regarding the professional forwarded to the Ethics Committee; they aim patient's satisfaction and search for partnership regarding the educational process in relation to the ethic events; they act based on values and myths, on the acquired knowledge and on past events. While the Manager Nurse aims respect to secrecy regarding the professional who committed the occurrence, the Member Nurse aims that the manager could decide on the forwarding of the ethic occurrence when needed. The "reasons to and why" claimed for these nurses to act in the ethic occurrences suggest important aspects to be reconsidered by nursing professionals who had experienced these occurrences on their daily life
