From intention to gesture: the dialectics of nursing education in collective health

Tomando como objeto de estudo o ensino de Enfermagem em Saúde Coletiva, na interface com os processos de trabalho em Enfermagem, a finalidade desta investigação foi conhecer o impacto dos novos referenciais teórico-metodológicos na formação profissional, científica, ética e política de enfermeiras na área da Enfermagem em Saúde Coletiva. Realizou-se uma reflexão hermenêutica para arguir a eficácia do discurso científico produzido sobre o ensino de Enfermagem em Saúde Coletiva na transformação do ensino e da prática em Enfermagem. Os conceitos de historicidade e dinamicidade foram as âncoras epistemológicas que sustentaram esta investigação na análise de quatro trabalhos de investigação produzidos entre 1999 e 2003. Tal análise permitiu constatar que as modificações nos eixos político-legais e discursivos produzidas pelo SUS, a LDB e as Diretrizes Curriculares não foram incorporadas ao ensino de graduação em Enfermagem. Argumenta-se que dos determinantes estruturais na sociedade brasileira produzem a contradição entre a práxis intencional e as condições objetivas em que se dão as práticas de ensino.
The object of this study is nursing education in collective health, in irs interface with nursing labor processes. Its aim was to acknowledge the impact of new theorical and methodological referentials in nursind education, in the professional, scientific ethical and political aspects. Searching for the historical tranformations in nursing education given by schools of nursing, in the field of knowledge and practices of collective health, a research based on critical hermeneutic was developed to verify the efficacy od scientific speech about nursing education in transforming teaching and caring parctices nursing. The epistemological concepts os historicity and dinamicity wereuse as pillars to sustain the study. The results of the analysis os four investigationpieces produced in 1999 to 2003 revealed that changes in political and legal axis and in the produced by the Brazilian Unified Health Sistem (SUS), Educational Law and curricular guidelines were not incorporated by nursing education in undergraduate level. This may be due to the structural determinants in Brazilian society prodices a contradiction between the intencional praxis and the objective conditions in which nursing education is produced.
