Desenvolvido um projeto de intervenção profissional, com implementação de um protocolo de mobilização precoce numa Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos, aferindo os ganhos de intervenção dos cuidados de enfermagem de reabilitação com a implementação do protocolo. Resultados:
Verifica-se através dos dados recolhidos que as ações do enfermeiro de reabilitação contribuÃram para um ganho funcional, com evolução progressiva nas diversas fases do protocolo. Conclusão:
Há indÃcios de ganhos funcionais nos participantes em contexto de cuidados inten-sivos, que se atribui à sistematização da intervenção e desenvolvimento de competências.

Whit the technological advance the number of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units increased, and that were connected to MV (Mechanical Ventilation) and that were sub-jected to long periods of physical imobilization. It is responsability of the rehabilitation nurse, to intervene early and safely, to avoid loss of functionalitythat will impact patients life quality. Objectives:

A project was developed to implent a new protocol regarding early mobilization of patients in a Intensive Care Unit, measuring the gains in rehabilitation nursing care intervention through the implementation of the protocol. Results:
It was verified after gathering data that the actions of the physical rehabilitation nurse have contributed to an increase in the functionality of critical patients. Conclusion:
There are signs of functional gains in the participants in the context of intensive care, which is attributed to the systematization of intervention and skills development.
