O presente Relatório de Estágio de natureza profissional - Parte I - surge no âmbito do curso de mestrado em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica na área de especialização em enfermagem à pessoa em situação crítica, ministrado na Escola Superior de Saúde do Politécnico de Leiria, cujo objetivo consiste em descrever e evidenciar, através da análise reflexiva, as competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica, desenvolvidas nos três ensinos clínicos, decorridos entre 2019 e 2020, em três serviços, nomeadamente num Serviço de Urgência Geral, Serviço de Medicina Intensiva e no Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica na Ambulância Suporte Imediato de Vida e na Viatura Médica de Emergência e Reanimação. A componente de investigação - Parte II - deste relatório consistiu num estudo quantitativo, descritivo-correlacional, com enfoque longitudinal, realizado com enfermeiros do préhospitalar, com atividade em Suporte Imediato de Vida e Viatura Médica de Emergência e Reanimação tendo como principais objetivos de avaliar o nível de conhecimentos e executabilidade das práticas forenses dos enfermeiros das Ambulância de Suporte Imediato de Vida da Delegação Regional do Centro do Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica sobre preservação de vestígios forenses e, verificar a diferença de conhecimentos e de executabilidade das práticas forenses antes e após uma formação teórica (Grupo I) e outra de cariz teóricoprático (Grupo II). Este trabalho foi fundamental para a criação de um projeto de melhoria para o Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica, que se traduziu num produto pedagógico sobre “Práticas Forenses no Pré-Hospitalar” a ser dinamizado a todos os enfermeiros do Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica e, numa fase posterior, incluído nos cursos de Suporte Imediato de Vida e de Suporte Avançado de Vida, com integração de simulação prática de altafidelidade neste contexto.
This Internship Report of a professional nature - Part I - arises within the scope of the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of specialization in Critical Care Nursing, taught at the School of Health of the Polytechnic of Leiria, whose purpose is to describe and highlight, through reflective analysis, the common and specific competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of Nursing to Critically Ill Patients, developed during the three clinical lessons held between 2019 and 2020, in three services, namely in a General Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and in the National Institute of Medical Emergency in the Immediate Life Support Ambulance and in the Medical Vehicle for Emergency and Resuscitation. The research component - Part II - of this report consisted of a quantitative, descriptive-correlational study, with a longitudinal focus, carried out with pre-hospital nurses The main objectives were to assess the level of knowledge and executability of the forensic practices of nurses working in the Immediate Life Support Ambulance of the Regional Delegation of the Centre of the National Institute of Medical Emergency on the preservation of forensic remains and to verify the difference in knowledge and executability of forensic practices before and after a theoretical training (Group I) and another theoretical-practical training (Group II). This work was essential for the creation of an improvement project for the National Institute of Medical Emergency, which resulted in a pedagogical product on "Forensic Practices in Prehospital" to be promoted to all nurses of the National Institute of Medical Emergency and, at a later stage, included in the Immediate Life Support and Advanced Life Support courses, with the integration of high-fidelity practical simulation in this context.
