Transporte do doente crítico: uma prática de qualidade

O presente relatório é o resultado do culminar de um percurso que teve início com o ingresso no curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico Cirúrgica – A Pessoa em Situação Crítica. O objetivo do presente trabalho é demostrar através de uma análise reflexiva as atividades desenvolvidas, durante o estágio final com objetivo de aquisição das competências de Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica – A Pessoa em Situação Crítica e Mestre. Diariamente os enfermeiros depararam-se com a necessidade de proceder ao transporte de doente crítico, eles têm de estar preparados para o imprevisto e ter capacidade de prever e atuar eficazmente e em tempo útil de forma a prevenir complicações. O desenvolvimento do projeto de intervenção no Serviço de Urgência Médico Cirúrgica, acerca do Transporte do Doente Crítico, permitiu-nos dar um contributo positivo ao serviço na melhoria da qualidade dos cuidados e segurança do doente. A teorização de enfermagem com recurso à teoria da Incerteza de Merle Mischel e o processo de reflexão e de análise crítica das atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do curso do Mestrado, revelaram-se crucias no contributo da aquisição de competências de Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico Cirúrgica e de Mestre em Enfermagem.
This report is the result of the culmination of a journey that began with the entry into the Master's Degree course in Medical Surgical Nursing - The Person in a Critical Situation. The objective of the present work is to demonstrate through a reflexive analysis the activities developed, during the final stage with the objective of acquiring the competencies of Nurse Specialist in Medical Surgical Nursing - The Person in a Critical Situation and Master. Every day, nurses have to be prepared for the unforeseen and have the ability to predict and act effectively and in a timely manner to prevent complications. The development of the intervention project in the Surgical Emergency Service, about the Transport of the Critically ill, allowed us to give a positive contribution to the service in the improvement of the quality of care and safety of the patient. The theorization of nursing using Merle Mischel's theory of Uncertainty and the process of reflection and critical analysis of the activities developed along the course of the Master's degree, proved to be crucial in the contribution of the acquisition of skills of nurse specialist in medical surgical nursing and master in nursing.
