Objetivo:
describir la experiencia de los padres que vivenciaron el nacimiento de su hijo en una institución de salud en Bogotá, Colombia durante julio de 2018 y marzo de 2019. Método:
estudio cualitativo fenomenológico interpretativo, en el que se aplicó el concepto de Desarrollo humano propuesto por Rosemarie Rizzo Parse. La información se recolectó a través de entrevistas, diarios de campo y llamadas telefónicas; el análisis se realizó con el método de Colaizzi. Los participantes fueron ocho padres que vivenciaron el nacimiento de sus hijos. Resultados:
la experiencia de los padres se consolidó en 3 temas: “el parto de los padres”, “ahí estamos los tres” y “enfermería un soporte excelente”. Conclusión:
los padres atravesaron por el proceso de desarrollo humano, iniciaron por la estructuración del significado “fue tan importante como su propia vida”, pasando por la configuración de sus pautas rítmicas que se refiere a “eligieron estar presentes” y, finalmente, “cotrascendieron hacia la paternidad deseada” en una interacción con su hijo y compañera.
Objective:
To describe the experience of parents who experienced the birth of their child in a health institution in Bogotá (Colombia) between July 2018 and March 2019. Method:
a qualitative interpretive phenomenological study, in which the proposed concept of Human Development applied by Rosemarie Rizzo Parse. The information was collected through interviews, field journals, and telephone calls; then it was analyzed using the Colaizzi method. The participants were 8 parents who experienced the birth of their children. Results:
The experience of the parents was consolidated in 3 themes: "the delivery of the parents", "there we are the three" and "nursing excellent support". Conclusion:
The parents went through the process of human development initiated by the structuring of the meaning "was as important as his own life", going through the configuration of rhythmic patterns that refers to "chose to be present" and finally "co-transcended towards the desired fatherhood "in an interaction with his son and partner.
