This guide is written for 4 day courses for CHWs who will be trained to assess and classify children and young infants who have a cough or difficult breathing, refer those with very severe disease or severe pneumonia, treat (including antibiotic treatment), and support home treatment for those with pneumonia and support home care for those with a cough or cold.
